PROGRAMS

Our Kindergarten-5th grade Elementary Program is committed to quality through Cognia Accreditation. We embrace multi-age, interdisciplinary, project-based learning to cultivate connections and spark a lifelong passion for learning. Small class sizes cater to individual interests and styles. Students have opportunities to practice service, responsibility, self-improvement, leadership, and supported risk-taking.

(Our program is recognized by the state of Iowa as a school eligible to receive state ESA funds (aka vouchers), if you so choose. Deadline for application for those funds is June 30.)

School Field Trip

Provided for K-5th grade homeschooled or unschooled children who want to join us in our nature-based activities, exploration, and community. Project-based learning centered around themes that connect us to ourselves, others, and the world around us. Two-, three-, four-, and five-day options available.

Paper Airplane

Play-based learning creates students who fall in love with learning and become natural lifelong seekers of knowledge. We spend our days in nature, incorporating music, crafts, hiking, counting, reading, and writing. Through projects, themes, and unstructured play, children nurture their curiosity and wonder while also developing gross and fine motor skills, self-confidence, social skills, and resilience. We offer two-, three-, four-, and five-day preschool for children ages 3 years-kindergarten.
